Ecobee is one of our favorites when it comes to new thermostats. As an ecobee pro, we love installing and managing your smart thermostats along with the home at all times. So, this new release from the company this week now is an exciting step forward with the tech stuffed into such a small device.

There are now two new versions of the thermostat: The Smart Thermostat Premium, and the Smart Thermostat Enhanced. The premium is the more _premium_ of the two, as you can guess. Now, what features have we got in these things?

If you’re new to smart thermostats like ecobee, let’s start from the beginning. With any of these thermostats on the wall, you have instant access through your phone to then control the heating and AC within your home. This was the original feature of all smart thermostats.

Now, ecobee has added even more, making this far more than just a thermostat and an app. The new premium product is estimated to save you 26% every year on heating and cooling costs, as it automatically adjusts the temperature in your home based on movement and whose home at a certain time.

A new feature entirely is a built-in air quality sensor. So now, ecobee will constantly evaluate the air quality in your home to alert you whenever there may be particulates or other harmful things in the air.

Additionally, the screen is 50% larger on the new devices, allowing more space and ease of use of the overall thermostat. Furthermore, we now have the addition of Siri built directly into the device, so you can seamlessly set and control the temperature with your voice through arguably the best voice assistant offered.

Of course, looking at the design details as well, we have a new enclosure with stainless-steel edges for a chic and beautiful look on the wall, in any home.
